Very heavy, solid onyx geometric object.  It could be used as part of a bookend or just stand alone decorative piece on a shelf.  The tag on the bottom says "Made in Italy." No other markings observed on the item to identify it's origins.  Onyx is a famous cloudy-textured crystalline type of quartz. Onyx. The surface of onyx can show some small holes and fissures that are not imperfections or polishing defects but natural characteristics inherent to this stone. This piece does show some of these spots on the corners and throughout.  Please see all photos detailing these areas. It has a nice polished look that reflects light giving additional interest and showing the variations in the stone.
